Hello
I recently acquired this car from a wholesale dealer near Chicago that specialized in Rolls Royces, he bought three cars from an estate, a Rolls, a super 8 and the car I bought, which is a standard 8, car was delivered new to consolidate motors in Vancouver BC on 11/25/33, however I am being told it is a 34 Here is a picture of the dealership circa 1935: searcharchives.vancouver.ca/uploads/r/nu ... 3-4c5a-b4a1-3d616da1c90c-A18951.jpg The second owner bought the car about 1946, and had remained in the same family for over 80 years on Vancouver Island The good news...the car is 99.8% complete was just missing crank hole cover, flywheel inspection cover, and hand throttle gear and rod, other than that has every part intact, and either in good or restorable condition, aside from carburetors issue ran fine brakes good, suspension good tires are ancient Car has very little corrosion and frame is devoid of any significant corrosion, has original interior and the exterior is original color but not so good paint job, glass has delaminated. Here is a link with many pictures onedrive.live.com/?qt=allmyphotos&photos ... c2LTg5YjYtZDMyYzhkYTA0MTA5&v=photos Work has started with dismantling interior and getting mechanicals up to snuff, currently getting it's frame dry ice blasted I will post as I make progress
