Trippe (Halifax; England Division of Trippe Company) Driving Light & Matching Control Switch

A) Trippe Lamp:
-Good Condition, all parts present, no micro-cracks in shell or bezel
-The UK (and Canada) divisions were established to avoid tariffs at the time imposed by England on various vehicle imports as the European market was substantial enough for Trippe to do so.
-Lense in exceptional condition
-Curved bezel around lense indicates 1930's-1942 (pre-war); post-war versions used a larger "blocky-looking" squarish bezel
-Single center-mounted "twilight" lamps were the tradition in the UK (also, often on New Zealand/Australian exports) vehicles of the era from the 1920's through the 60's; See photo of a single Trippe Halifax on an all-original 1933 Packard Touring Sedan.

B) Under-dash On/Off Control Switch:
-Very difficult-to-locate original Trippe Switch with bezel/bracket
-Very good condition
-Cleaned/rejuvenated; continuity and isolation tested
