A) 1937-39 Packard Senior Accelerator Pedal:
-This pinnacle of art-deco design is probably my favorite component on my Packard
-They are usually bent, broken or worn down from foot pressure; this one is exceptional (see side photo as it is ruler-straight)
-I rejuvenated the grooves on my jewelers bench and made sure the tread points were back to proper "pyramid" shapes and hand-graved the surrounding and center trim reveals to get a crisp replating
-It was touch polished, copper-flashed, final polished to perfection prior to the Nickle-Chrome electroplating
-I attached a brand new Steele rubber pedal actuator retainer using the original washer
-I enameled the inset silhouette behind the tread points and "empire state" motif
