These are like trying to find hens teeth on a Unicorn!

1) Used on 1938-1939 Packard Twelve
-1 trim spear piece for sale
-Fully intact, no cracks
-All fastener bosses/holes intact
-Very good condition; will take copper flash/polish/replating well
-Original Packard part #: 240090 (made by Supr-Cast for Packard)
-2 were used on each side, 1 ea above/below the louvered vents on left and right hood sides
-47 1/8" tip to tip (NOT the same as the 35-37 long spears...38-39 were longer and unique)

Packard changed the 1935-37 front end design to begin to move the fender line upward to blend the fenders in a more "streamlined" manner...as a result the hood side bottom parting line was "moved upward" and the hood side apron was narrower, eliminating the lower 2 louvered vents. Since the V12 engine was virtually unchanged, they needed a minimum engine cooling/vent cross-sectional area, so the remaining 3 hood side louvers were widened and also lengthened to preserve the same venting area...thus the longer overall trim motif to mimic the longer vents.

2) Price: $350 + shipping; It will be packed in a board stiffened, double-facing foam cushion panel, then inside its own overwrapping box for shipping integrity.
