Hi all,

My own 1101 was in 'Empire of the Sun', it was in the football field where all the booty was stored, still has the droopy wiper!

Just last week it was used in an upcoming series about American Presidents filmed here in Ireland. It involved the story of one 'Al Smith', a presidential wannbe.

Slan go foill,

Pat Feeney,
Galway.
Rep. of Ireland.

2 things

should the 148 have been 1948 for the year, if not do you remember the year of the limo? Also I need your last name for the contributor list.

Just thought of another one. When my kids were little they used to watch a cartoon on Nickelodeon called Hey Arnold. Arnold's grandfather drove a 1947 Packard Clipper. Complete with cormorant hood ornament.

There's a few classic-era Packards in a Ronald Reagan movie from the mid 30s called "Accidents Happen". Reagan played an insurance agent looking into auto insurance fraud. There's a 33 or 34 coupe roadster used in a street saftey zone to fake an accident. The car gets enough time to know what it is but I haven't seen it in years.

Being an 80s rock lover, the most famous song/video of this genre was Warrant's "Cherry Pie".

I had seen the video 1000 times over the years, and only recently noticed the car used in it was a 51-54 Packard Convertible.

I think the girl had something to do with me not noticing....
The Packard's rockin' not only because the girl is making it hop around some.
