Valves looked ok and looked to be seating, there was very little play from side to side with them, as were with some other cylinders that have commpression.

Not really possible to check condition of the valve stem and guide wear and condition of the seats by just wiggling from side to side due to tension of the spring. You really have to remove the valves to inspect.
