Ask him if he can set one up with a SINGLE line master cylinder. I'm guessing as more and more conversions come about there will either be demand for single cylinder or a proportioning valve set up to be added to tandem cylinders.
My personal preference is a single line cylinder with NO prop valve.

Since the MC sets so low it mite be a good idea to have a bleeder screw on the MC too.

I called him back and they do not offer single line master cylinders..

Here is what i'm not sure of:
Some tandem cylinders are spring loaded between primary and secondary pistons. Some are NOT. For those of us that want a SINGLE line and NO prop valve then what about just connecting the TWO lines of the tandem cylinder together at or near the output ports of the cylinder????

There are TWO types of TANDEM cylinders. Is the tandem cylinder he offers a DUAL reservoir or a SINGLE reservoir MC???

Fred Rupert at MP Brakes (1-888-351-8785 Ext.211)
this is the number, call him and ask him, I don't know the answers to your questions and he probably does so there is no reason for me to be the middle man when you can simply call him yourself -- as in my first post on the subject, I just asked for a bolt in replacement for the TreadleVac, thats it

Joe,

When you do finally order MPB's custom BTV replacement, it would probably be helpful for them to include this picture to illustrate the fitment problem:

An 8in diameter diaphram could be used if one were willing to locate the pedal rod 1/2in lower than stock. This may possibly let one use a slightly thicker diaphram so that a dual diaphram unit could be fitted possibly obviating the need for a reengineered pedal assembly. Only trial fit will tell the tale.

Craig
