The 1955-56 parts book has a very good parts number index with superseded numbers shown. Packard put a lot of effort into cleaning up their parts number index for this issue.
I also have a couple of superseded parts number lists from the early 50's. There is no superseding number shown for 382556

Has anyone checked the Packard marine parts lists? Since the other uses of 410465 were all in heavy truck 4x4 transfer cases, perhaps it was used by Packard in the marine transmissions.

UPDATE: Not in the Packard Marine parts lists.
PS - Packard marine engine parts that were not common to the car engines apparently are comprised of 5 digits preceeded by "MA", for example MA51234, at least this seems to be the case for the gearboxes. But to add to the mystery on the 410465 (309) bearing, I have a friend who has purchased and restored about a dozen or more Packard marine engines for donation to the various museums, and along with the many stray marine parts that came with or from them, he also has a 309 bearing, this one by Fafnir.

Found 382556. It is a superseding number for 367811 main bearing #2 and #4 in 0.015" undersize for 1935 to 1940 120's
