Kevin, et al: I would appreciate it if you would let me know about any 1955 Clippers you see at the PI meet this weekend with standard suspensions and transmissions (for sale or not). You may give the owners/sellers my contact information or we can connect on the site here. With so large a turn-out expected, this may be a good chance to locate one of the rare cars. Thanks.

Will do! I have a spotting list I am working off of for some other people trying to locate parts. I will let you know what I turn up.

Kevin, did you see any standard suspension, standard transmission 55 Clippers at the PI membership meet?

Not a single one! There were only a handful of 55/56 cars in attendance. I made a several inquires to people about this and no one knew of a car that had standard transmission and standard suspension. Everyone I asked said the same thing that just finding any 55/56 with a standard transmission is a quest in itself.
