Would someone please post a photo of a cloeup of the radio control head (dash shot) of 1939 dash. My 39 has the Packard rdio unit on the firewall but appears contol head was never installed.
If I can't find a control head, I may have to fake it out until I find one.

Lowell

These are all I have of my 38. I didn't take any pics when it was on the work bench.
I think there are at least 2 models that could be installed in the 38/39 Junior cars. I'm not sure ,but think the only difference on the tuning head( control head) was the dial ( check with yesterdays radio) and control features. The custom had local/distance and tone control along with a remote speaker option.
These radios do come up for sale, be prepared to pay.

This radio has been converted to 12 volt neg ground .am/fm mp3. With a powered arial under the running board. (The car is 6 volt positive)
