I decided to pull both radiators, the 1934 1101 Coupe and the 1934 1104 Touring.

It is at the local rad shop I have used for years. We are recoring with the original type and total cost to me is $1070.

I am going to update my original thread about "1934 Running Hot"

Is that $1070 total for both?

Materials and labor go up, not down. That price doesn't seem out of line with what I paid about 6 years ago for an authentic recore of my 34 Eight radiator, I believe that was about $800 as I recall. The original radiator seemed fine, no leaks, car ran cool regardless of conditions; I did it out of an abundance of caution in conjunction with an engine rebuild which always puts new stress on a cooling system. Plus the radiator and shell were already removed and I wanted to also rechrome the shell and repaint the shutters.
