This is the arrangement on the 350 in my '50 Willys Delivery. It works very well with the connections oriented this way.

I'm assuming the AC compressor is on the left. But what is the unit that sets high on the right side of the engine???? Doesn't look like an alternator. Looks more like an A.I.R smog pump or something other than an alternator.

It is a mid 70's Volvo power steering pump, I installed it and the box in my Willys chassis. I then used '94 Grand Cherokee tie rods.

Hello,

Have you tried Classic Auto Air? I purchased their swing mount, six bladed fan, micro-finned condenser, and compressor. They were very helpful. The air conditioning has been in my 1956 Patrician for over five years.
