Hi Gerd,
Back in the 60's and 70's I used to work in a big firm that made welding rods and we used Brammer belts on lots of our conveyor systems. They would last hundreds of hours and if the did break they were very quick to change as has already been said. The only problem is the authenticity of them if someone is very particular on the look of things, especially in concours judging. They also make a good standby spare to carry in the boot (trunk). The serial number would indicate that it is a third series twin-six.
