60-62 lb-ft is the correct torque. But if you add spacers beneath the coil (which shouldn't be necessary but not a bad idea), make sure you still have enough thread remaining on the stud to capture the full threads of the acorn nut or you risk stripping the nut or the stud. If you have the NorthEast dual coil setup, getting clearance to use a torque wrench on the inner (center) stud can be a problem so you may have to do that one by feel. Removing the distributor can give better access.
If your NorthEast coils (NorthEast dual coil setup?) need replacing, Bob Conolle does a fine job on these, the cast aluminum base, cannisters, internals, and caps. Quality is excellent.

Owen,
Can you either post his info or pm me with it? My base has cracked. I'm not in a huge hurry to replace, but if at the right price, maybe not a bad idea right now. The base has cracked because the fasteners holding the coils in place extend out beyond the base, thus arching the base. I will try to post a photo later.

Owen,
Can you provide a photo of how the coils are mounted on your car? My thoughts were to use a head washer, and then a smaller chrome washer on top. Not sure how much thread I have left though. Any thoughts on trying to remove the center nut without removing the distributor?

This is the best picture I have handy of the correct coil placement, hope it helps. These coils were rebuilt by Larry Justice (since deceased) who did this type of work before Bob Conolle.
Packard had a special wrench for the inner cylinder head nut beneath the distributor but I've managed to get at it with a very slender 12-point box wrench. Nothing special, just tedious.
