Gooday fellow Packard addicts

Has anyone out there had experience with the reproduction based on original patterns upholstery kits offered by Kanter products ?

The kit I bought for a 56 a few years ago will fit but did need a nip and tuck here and there. Believe that is what he means by original pattern.

Seemed to be of decent enough quality but was made of modern material and just plain pattern--nothing resembling what was in the car originally and believe is just meant to make the car servicable. If the car you have is solid color upholstery, then should serve nicely although it probably won't be quite like the original--but if you have one of the more detailed patterns Packard used, you may be disappointed.

I bought one of their deluxe kits a few years ago. If you are looking for original, these are not for you. I just wanted to cover the bedford cord so my wife would be more comfortable. The fit and quality was great. I bought a pattern that would look 'of the period' and was totally satisfied.

Any pictures of your upholstery done from reproduction patterns? Interesting to see how it compares with original ?
