Well I have so unexpected travel coming up. So next week I will be flying into Detroit on Tuesday night, I have one meeting on Wednesday, and early meeting on Thursday (on Woodward Ave), then back on a plane to Calif right after the meeting.

The on Sunday I will be on a plane to Toronto, and I will be there all week flying back on Friday evening.

So I was thinking of trying to do a drive by on Grand Ave on Wednesday after my meeting. Every Packardite has to visit Mecca once. So I need the standard picture of me standing in the doorway. Then back in the car before the locals take any notice.

Also going to see if I can find some Packard related activites in Toronto. Any ideas appreciated.

Sounds like a plan John! I will have a work friend with me. But it would be nice to get together for a beer if nothing else!

I will have to pack my "PackardInfo" shirt for the photo op.

What is the actual (modern) address of the Grand Ave factory? (More specifically where the "Packard" door is located). I am asking as I was not sure if anything (street name, number changes) had changed since Packard occupied the building.

I am hoping to get over there Wednesday afternoon.

BTW, it's always East Grand Boulevard, There is a Grand street in Detroit, but you don't need anything from there.
