I found this ad in a book about trucking in Ontario. Interesting read especially since the subject truck ia a Packard truck. In 1917 the "Wingfoot Express" took 28 days to go from Akron to Boston and back while using up 28 tires! I guess people didn't worry about "on time delivery" so much back then.
