i noticed that Max Merrit has the gasket set for a 1955 clipper 352 for 145, but Kanter is 175....Fred why the difference in price....what do i get that is better or different for the increase in price?

I would check that Max Merritt's price is still current. Assuming it is, what you get for the extra $30 is my attention to helping others in this forum solve their Packard problems and occasional attempts at humor. Also when you receive our main catalog you can put the cover on your garage wall and throw darts at my and Dan's face.

Our gaskets are all fresh stock, nothing old and dried out. I do not know what Max Merritt's are, but he is a real nice guy.
