ZIS, GAZ, ZIL chassis

Maybe others can add to this since I find these cars fascinating and their use of US designs interesting.

What is the correct sequence of these car brand models?

I will post some frame diagrams I found and was donated and ask some questions with them to see if anyone can help fill in the gaps?

Questions... is the GAZ 13 and 14 frames the same? The ZIL 114-117 - what do they look like? How about the later model ZIL's with the 40s prefix numbers (built in the 1970s-2000 era)? Is the 11G the same as the other 111 ZIL's since it had a more Chrysler flair?

Thanks!
Eric

After doing some digging, I think I answered a few of my own quetions but hope others will post pictures.

I found where someone was doing a frame off restoration with pictures of a GAZ-14 and yes, the frame is the same for it and the GAZ-13.

I also see that ZIL is still selling (per their website) the ZIL-41041 and ZIL-41047 and under the specifications says it has a ladder frame and not an X and elsewhere I read it was the same as the ZIL-114, 117 frame. So, guess the 111 series was the last X unless the 111-G is different?

dav... these Horch frames are great but aren't they a German company and didn't have Soviet connections until after the war? How do these two diagrams fall into the ZIL, ZIS, GAZ catagory?

Does your books have the other early ZIS and GAZ models? Thanks for posting what you do have!!! Very helpful.

Does anyone know if there ever were any frame dimensions on charts? From what I understand there probably wasn't as if a frame needed fixed they usually just swapped it out.
