Maybe HH56's idea is a good one after all with a bit of re-eng'ring added:
SUpose the fresh air intake from the interior (drivers side) were connected to the passenger side heater air delivery. Use a flex hose at the FRONT of the car ot connect them???? That would allow for recirculated air conditioned air thru the original vent ducts and blower motor.
