If you have the two bolts saftey wired together (as Packard had them), then there is really no way for the bolts to fully turn unless the wire broke.

Hopefully this writes the final chapter on my big old oil leak! After doing some more driving today virtually no oil leaked from the engine at all (well, one drop, one time). I am thrilled.

I never would have thought of the fuel pump being loose. I'm sure glad I got under the car "one more time" and wiggled everything real good.

Back to driving and enjoying it now.
