Usualy from Detroit archives.
It would be interesting to identify the backgrounds of such photos. In the following instance;

The house is probably still standing. If privacy is somekind of issue then maybe just a street name or close approximate region of a neighborhood could be given or closest main intersection.

I'm guessing we have enuf Detroiters participating at P'info.com that can probably remeber some of these houses, buildings or backgrounds. Especialy the more exquisit custom built houses.
