spark plug wires

I recently had my 55 Clipper tuned up. The copper wired spark plug wires were replaced with radio resistant wires and the plug were replaced with resister plugs.
The car does not now run very good.
This car has the Auto-Lite system. As I recall, the 56 went to the resistant system. I know the rotor changed in 56.

Any thought as to if this could cause my problem?

Assuming it now runs worse than i did BEFORE the tune up and assuming the NEW plugs are a different brand and/or different number ON THE PLUG ITSELF then put the old plugs back in and try it.

If the performance of the radio isn't of importance to you, I'd prefer copper-core wire and non-resistor plugs. Or at the most, resistor wire OR resistor plugs.

The parts book lists the same rotor for Auto-Lite in 55 and 56. I believe it is a non-resistor rotor. The Delco rotor has the resistor built in. I run solid copper wires (Packard 440) and non-resistor plugs. I don't have any static problems with either radio - I have two in the 400.
