Don't know if any help but the first mention of a pressure cap in specs is 41 and across the board. 4 1/2 for juniors, 7 for seniors and 12 for AC cars. The 41 data book under "Institutional" & "Packard Improvements for 41", page 10 mentions "New Pressure Sealed Cooling System".
Guess the question would be: did they dabble in some models before and then make it across the board in 41 or was 41 a beginning for all.
