John, sometimes it depends on ... me.
Sorry?! 1) Due to a translation error I had to edit post #50. 2) "... I am sorry to let you know the car was sold ..." says www.motorcarportfolio.com from post #51. Thanks for the fast reply, Bob.

OK, here's the document cited earlier, courtesy of Stuart Blond via Jim Balfour. Draw your own conclusions; mine is that, with no mention of the conventional bodies (other than the LeBarons), Packard continued to build them.
Just as an added note, I believe that all or almost all the Packard Board Meeting minutes right up until the end have survived. These pages come from a private collection.

Dave, Stuart Blond, Jim Balfour and the private collector - many thanks.
Quote: ...Draw your own conclusions; mine is that, with no mention of the conventional bodies (other than the LeBarons), Packard continued to build them... Furthermore other Packard/Briggs contracts are mentioned. Quote: I believe I'm correct when I say that Briggs also built the "conventional" bodies in 1941 and 1942. Dave, just to exclude translation errors, am I right in saying that you based on this Board Meeting minutes drop the above shown hypothesis?
