It doesn't seem to make the headlines that Toyota's sales were down more than GM's or Ford's for the last reporting period.

In the area I live we have all the major brand Japanese dealerships. The funny part of it all is for the Japanese cars and truck sold in this area that after about five or six years they just seem to fade away. You see more older GM, Ford, and Chrysler products on the road. To me what the Japanese auto makers build is no better than what is built by US car makers. Toyota pickup that were built in the late 80's and 90's are nothing but rust buckets in this area after they are five or six years old.
