Thanks for that link. You can tell quite a bit about the starts based on their rides. I like the low-key approach of Johnny Weissmuller in his Chevrolet, Jimmy Stewart hangin' with his Plymouth and Ginger Rogers looking very satisfied with her tastefully understated Plymouth. They don't seem to have to look so stern and in-control, (or nuts and out-of-control) as some of the others.

Talk about stern: Erich Von Stroheim is obviously having none of zizz monkeybissness.

I'm watching "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" on TV and outside the bar where Roger is hiding is a very nice two-tone brown 1948 two-door Packard fastback. Never noticed it before. It also appeared in a later scene where the cartoon taxicab is helping them escape.

PackardInfo helpline, Guscha is speaking. How can I help you, Sir?

Who framed Roger Rabbit? Just a second I will put you through to the Internet Movie Car DataBase for getting pictures and further information.

Thanks for calling PackardInfo. May I put you on hold while I try contacting the source?

That link lists the Packard as a 1948. In the beginning of the movie there is a subtititle that says "Hollywood 1947".

Ahh, movie magic. :)

The 22nd series Packards came out in calendar year 1947, so I'll give that one a bye. The 22nd series car in "Patton" is not excusable.

David, almost not to believe but this Victoria has its own website.
In part II of the trilogy we met her again (see pic below).
