What's your location? And can you pop the hood and take a picture of the plate on the engine side of the firewall? (Or just write down the Vehicle number that is written on it, see links below for examples.) With the Vehicle number we will be able to know exactly what you have.

'55 400. Needs aesthetic parts put back on, and electrical system sorted.
'55 Clipper Deluxe. Engine is stuck-ish.

So the answer is yes, I can get the VIN#. but it will be a day or two. I am in Wisconsin. This car has been chopped down to a convertible in the 50's.

It’s a 1942 senior series. You can tell it’s a 42 by the front side grills and it’s a senior series by the hood side latches

I was told it's 1942 because of the horizontal grills in the front. It may be a chopped down taxi as it says Madison Taxi on one of the doors.

I didn't see that in the picture. I forgot I set the rear bumper on top of the front as it was laying inside the car.
