Looks more like a 400 on the sides than an Executive. But you can't see the rear in that one pic I found.

The articles on the Esquire are in the fall 72 and 74 issues of the Cormorant if you know anyone who might have them. I apparently only go back to 75 unless misfiled so I know there was another book or mag that also did a piece. I am trying to find that one. IIRC, it was only on Patrician sedans, the side trim was modified to make it look like the Caribbean which required special pieces at the post between doors and I think under the louvers. Back was almost the same as Caribbean with exception of the Esquire script. Leeedy has already mentioned the interior stuff.

There is an Esquire on the PAC website in the 56 photo's.

www.packardclub.org

It may belong to George Hamlin. That is the only one listed in the PAC membership directory.

I sort of remember something about it in the Baltimore PAC National meet directory.

Why have I never in all these years heard of the Esquire?

If you'd browse the forums you'd find that it has indeed been discussed here before, and has had at least two feature articles on it published in The Packard Cormorant magazine some years back. It was a creation of DuBois Motors, a Packard dealer, down in VA as I remember.
