The spotlights originally came with black handles which did not suit my taste, so I acquired some ivory handles to make them look a little more elegant. They are not pearl.
They're ivory. Only a pimp from a cheap New Orleans whorehouse would mount a pearl-handled spotlight.

As I seem to remember, spotlights were generally used in the 1960s to illuminate teenagers in the back seats of their parents' Country Squires ...
