Thanks for including those pictures of a RHD V8. It is always interesting to many of us to look at all the effort a company (or re-fitter) went to in order to sell cars in a Commonwealth country. The chrome "v" on the dash is the same as with a LHD, just stuck on the left side. Same with the metal door interior trim panels, the left was stamped to take only the single window switch and the right, the four switch. Today, the cost accountants would have a fit. Putting the Ultramatic push buttons on the right, next to the door, seems a natural, although I've often wondered what the accelerator pedal next to the trim panel must feel like. Most of us assume that God made the transmission tunnel just to rest our gas pedal foot aside.
