Ernie, I think three gallons of MMO every three weeks might be edging toward excessive?
I use MMO in the fuel in my 39 S-8 but my dosage is ~ 4oz. per ten gallons.
But, if it works for you...

Oops...I ment to say that I add a little MMM each time I add two or three gallons of gas. The mixture in the tank is more or less what is stated on the bottle. Old gas can dry in the fuel lines over time and leave deposits if it is not treated with something to prevent it...or the car is lucky enough to be driven enough to keep the gas fresh...Ernie in Arizona
