Good afternoon...Just one more point...those old girls frequently have a lot of junk on the screen on the oil pump pick up in the pan. When you drain the oil. Perhaps consider sliding a bore scope up into the pan throught the drain hole and look at the oil pump screen and perhaps at how much sludge is in the pan. Droping the pan and cleaning the screen and the sludge is a pretty good form of insurance...Sometimes, driving these old girls prior to a really good inspection and lube can cause unnecessary damage.
