Good Evening...Miss Prudence, our 1949 Deluxe, has the gas tank whistle and it brings out all sorts of comments at the Chevron Station around the corner. Pretty much from 'How Cool 'to 'What a Pain in The Ass that damn thing is'. Sometimes it makes Miss Prudence feel bad! Ernie in Arizona

Aside from watching the looks on the faces when the whistle is working, a fun thing I like to do when I fill up our 1948 Super Eight is to place both hands on top of the steering wheel after getting back inside the car. As the folks watch me, I hit the gas pedal and the car starts - and they do NOT know how I started the car!
