I think the orginal question was if the tie rod end on the passenager side is righthand or lefthand threads.

I couldn't leave this along, so I took the Driver's side Tie Rod End off and found it has Righthand threads also. And the correct answer to why different part numbers was answer by 56executive. Because the grease fitting both point to the rear of the car.
So this is one for future reference.

The sleeve that the tierod screws into is left-hand thread on the inner end so that it acts like a turnbuckle.
BUT, you can't have too much clarification!
