I believe that's what's known as an "Ambitious Restoration Project".

Looks like a few other interesting cars in the flock.

WOW,

Was the barn in lake Michigan? How do you rust out the top of the dash?

I would be interested, but the transportation cost?

Usbankrecovery, a foreclosure on property?

Another one of those, who didn't want to sell, cause he was going to fix it up someday?

I predict a fairly solid '55 400 is going to give up its life for this car.

Organ Donor time.

Sad that someone let such a beautiful and RARE automobile go...

Reminds me of the magazine picture I saw several years ago showing TWO Buick Skylarks ('53-'54) sitting outside rotting away...

The same seller has a '34 pierce arrow to sell as well. Looks like they sat next to eachother in the same underwater barn that collapsed.

They also are selling a large flat bed truck. Perfect to strap the Packard onto the back of and drive home.

Shudder, cringe, sweats and heart palpitations! Maybe a drink too?

I think the only thing not representative or missing is THE LAKE that this Caribbean was stored in for a few decades.

Anyway, I know a guy that knows a guy who knows another guy, that knows the GUY that just won the Illinois lotto with his wife. Maybe that guy could resurrect this car?

Isn't the Caribbean script on the front of the ford in the back ground?

Gee it looks more like the barn found it. Perhaps cut the roof off a 55 400 and use the top bows, trim, and weld your own frame reinforcements. I'm tired already.
