Nuts. Today I did the epoxy. It was messy..

On the water outlets. I need to ream. And use a I think 45 degrees cutter.

Riki,

You could use a valve seat cutter with a 45 degree cut angle. Might have to machine a bushing to fit in the opening and proc=vide a center for the pilot on the cutter.

I have some valve stones somewhere. That I'm thinking of using with the mill.

Not sure if they make a 45 degree to put on a boring bar.

I decided to assess the coolant recover tank. There were rust throughs in the bottom of the tank, so I decided to section out the rusty area. It is interesting to see the internals. A lot more complicated than expected.

Apparently, a former California owner had developed a leak in the tank and decided to pour some sort of sealant in it to stop the leakage. Even put a large self-taping bolt with some type of patch on it to seal a larger hole. No wonder it rattled when I shook it. Guess it's time for the blaster and some welding.
