Rolling through the hills of central Pennsylvania in a 51 200 in overdrive. 288 engine. Pedal to spare. This is my definitive statement about how upset to be that you don't have a 327.

Turbo: If you find that you do have that carb and it has the switch, hit me up with a pm and asking price. I can drill and tap the bolt holes for the linkage, but doing that and messing around with jetting and all, the switch was the straw breaking the camel's back on the decision to keep the 2 barrel. (And it ran a little rich on the 288, so i thought the 327 might be right on).

Ross: I've had my 288 with the ultramatic behind it up towards 100 a couple times (headed down route 11 here to the casino in WV an hour away) and i'm still surprised how well it does at those speeds and how well it rides.

No switch on either of the two I have, one's from a 331 Hemi and the other one I'm not sure of, but it has vacuum secondaries.
