Can't remember where I took this on my 1934 1101.

I think its the support arm coming off the engine block to the steering box.

Its a replacement motor from a 12 (I think) while the proper one is being rebuilt.

Will check later and get it right next time!

Keith, thanks. Those make postwar pretty well complete.

Still only three prewar but since it doesn't look like very many more will come in here or at AACA site, will combine what I have and get to Kev next week.

HH56;

Mite want to think about making this thread a TOP-OF-List entry in "recent forums topics" at left of screen so it will always be a reminder for those that may have not participated yet.

I'm also wondering how clear or distinct any PREwar engine numbers are. If they are like the timing marks on my 2262 damper then maybe they are just over looked by owners. The stamped engine numbers on my 2262 are not real deep or distinct but readable and accessible.

The Recent Forum Topics list, at left, is generated dynamically; it is simply a list of the last ten topics that have seen any new posts.

You may be confusing this with "pinning a thread" to the top of a forum list, which only BigKev can do, here.

Thankfully, there hasn't been a lot of "pinning", here. I'd really hate to see things cluttered up like some of the forums at other sites, where you have to scroll, scroll, scroll, your boat, gently down the screen, past so many other posts to find the truly recent topics of interest. It only takes a few egomaniacs to mess up a good thing.

I think the best thing that Howard can do is bump the topic, periodically, until he has accumulated everything he's looking for. Perhaps then, there will be sufficient data to make a FAQ post, with pix or even an fuller article for our archive.

Give me a few days or perhaps a week and I'll get you a shot of the engine# location on a 36 Twelve. Should be the same as all Twelves from 33 to 39, and perhaps the 32 Twin Six.

Howard,

Some pic's for now. Tomorrow will try to remember to take some of The Fossil, Big Red and Fleurette. And on Sunday there should be a number of Packards in attendance at our clubs AGM so I'll get some more shots then.
