Jules Bledsoe, one of the first major African-American opera stars in the United States. Take note of what looks like a tri-tone color scheme.

My favorite is the gorgeous movie star Hedy Lamarr who owned a 1940 2-door convertible and who gave our country the technology for secure wireless communications during WWII.

PI ran a picture of her with her car many years ago.

Satchel Page drove Packards.

What happened to her eyebrows? When I was a kid we used to laugh at girls who did that. Brooke Shields seems to be the only one who can live with her own looks.

O, brother.

How's this, Tim? She signed with Maybelline. They may have turned her on to Packards. I wonder if someone at PI could dig up that photo of her with her '40.. Must have been in a 70s issue of the magazine. Her eyebrows look better here. It was vogue. I just wish she'd written a little longer note.

My mother was born in 1913 and when she saw the "shaved and crawen eyebrow" look she shaved her's off to be in vogue. The joke was on her as they never grew back! Re-drawing her eyebrows was part of her morning ritual right up to her passing at age 95.

Joe, I've found the picture you asked for (attached). As far as I can see it answers all Packard related questions imaginable. If not then click to enlarge.
