Is there a slight curve to the bedsides? And they said Packard quit making trucks in the 20's....

How big of a bed box do we end up with? Can I haul a sheet of plywood in it? I notice you use yours for hauling Packard part ect... Did you add some leaves to the rear springs?

Ross,
Very nice.
The tailgate and doors looks like many hours of work, and it looks nice.

Questions,

Are those bucket seats?
Are those hinges in the bed? What are they for?
What did you make the rocker and rear stainless from?

Can't haul plywood flat as the Packard wheel houses are too close together. Hauls it just fine sitting up on one wheelhouse and with the tailgate down.

The hinged rear floor gives access to a large shallow compartment between the axle hump and the rear sill. I'll attach a photo of a 55 that is in process.

All of the side trim on the doors, rockers, and rear quarters was handmade from flat. The owner chose the 63 Impala buckets.

Hi Ross

Looks great! Nicely done, proportions remind me of the Macauley Saga. I particularly like your trim accents. If you made those for the belt-line available, I'd bet you could sell quite a few sets, the 200's need a little more 'jewelry' for a more upmarket look.

Proud 1953 Clipper Deluxe owner. Thinking about my next Packard, want a Clipper Deluxe Eight, manual shift with overdrive.

It started life as a '51 correct? I always liked the body line on the rear quarters.
