I like it but not as a "Packard". Thr lite beige is most likely an early buick color thst was called Sandlewood. Ca. 1970 thru 72. I personaly never cared for that color. It was popular.

Well apologies to Packard Purists, since we of the Packard persuasion can never get a real modern Packard, and the fact that this car combines both the Rivera and Packard, If it were a convertible, it would definitely find a spot in my garage. Figuring out what to call it would take some thought.

It is a Bayliff. Nothing new here. They have been discussed before. A couple hundred were built on 1980's Cadillac DeVille and Riviera bodies. And convertibles were made.

Yes, that's all true . . . But every so many years someone "discovers" these ersatz Packards and doesn't know what they're looking at, so it falls to the forum regulars to educate them. NBD - we've done it before, and just wait a while, we'll have to do it again.
