51,
I would recommend you install DuckDuckGo on your browser. It will hide your internet activity, searches etc from the internet tracking companies (I have blocked over 185,000 tracking attempts in the last four-five months). DuckDuckGo also offers a free email and info masking service as part of the Don't Track Me. This way the replies go to a especially created email address that shows up in your email account without revealing your email address, etc.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Stephen, I'll look into that. Could be very helpful

Thanks Tom, his routes seem east and west and I need south to north, but I'll reach out to him. Maybe if he can't do it reasonably he can recommend someone.

I looked back thru his older post. There are lots of North to South (and visa-versa) trips.
I am book marking this guy myself.

Don't mean this to be rude, but are you really ready for an old car? What I'm hearing is that everything costs way too much and that you can't afford these outrageous prices.
They don't get lower once the car is in your driveway.
If you are not a chronic whiner who loves complaining, step back and be sure this is something you can handle...

PATGREEN, not sure how you think it is whining trying to get others experiences with a process you have never done before. You do it all the time, mostly without searching or doing any investigating on your own. I also never complained about the prices. I made it clear that a covered carrier might be overkill for my project. Why pay extra for something that is not necessary? I don't know, I always thought that was good business sense.

Your ignorance speaks volumes questioning if someone should own an old car when they are asking about shipping prices. I already own old cars for many years! Learning and doing all the work on them myself.

Now back to the topic at hand. I want to thank all of you who have offered their experiences, red flags and potential shipping companies to do business with, both in this thread and in PMs. Shipping a car is serious business and hopefully others in the future will find this thread helpful.

This is not the place to discuss ignorance or research skills; they're too much like religion and politics.

I hope you find exactly what you seek. We all do.
