Trivia cause I don't know:

Been on this 2362 project now for 3 years and 32 days and getting a little concerned about where these parts belong. Hopefully they belong with the fenders or grills cause that's about all that's left to do. (don't know why in the world I didn't bag & mark these like I did 99.9% of everything else)

Thanks in advance for the answer!!

They are used inside the rear fenders to retain the oval tail light pods against the curved body surface.

The order of worship is and will always be: Tag&bag, date& draw (picture of how parts relate/go together)

So true. One missed "tag&bag" and picture can consume a lot of time searching and head scratching.

Thanks Ross! Great news - The tail light pods are being chromed now. I suppose I would have eventually solved the mystery but I'm glad to know sooner than later.

(stay tuned. I've got one more "un-baged/marked" part to get a picture of and post tonight)

I believe this strip (14" x 1/2" x 1/16" with 3 slots) came from the glove box or dash area but couldn't find a fit when reassembling. What can it be?

This is fun. Rubber strip goes under the glovebox molding to diminish the gap at the top.

The hammer indicates that it's near the end of our game and now it's time for the final round:

OK Ross -
You're in then lead with 2 points!!
And now, for the sweep, and the CHAMPIONSHIP .....

Where in the car is this anti-squeak material used?

a few places that I've seen but the first one that comes to mind is the top rear bolt mounting the front fenders

If you're speaking of this bolt - I believe you're incorrect. The bracket behind the bolt is square and I believe a round rubber washer goes between the bracket and cowl.

Another place those larger antisqueak pieces are used is at the side bolts from lower corners of dash to door pillar. The way those pieces are faded it almost looks like something triangular was over them.
