Hi Again,

My dad bought a bunch of engine related decals and I want to put them on for him.

Attached is a photo of the decals I still need to lick and stick.

I know what they are for however I do not know the exact positioning for them. Can anyone please give me some cyber advice?

Pretty sure I got this photo from this site somewhere. Maybe check the photo gallery for others.

Although I have no idea what the correct locations are, the curve of the air cleaner decal makes it look as though it should be on top! It seems very odd, like a weird smile, on the side like that.

I think Don is correct. Anyway... that's where I put mine (on top). Here's an example.

The photo Mark posted in #2 is an old photo of mine, taken of Paul Teets 23rd Series Custom 8 convertible. Yes, the air filter decal is incorrect on that engine and belongs on the top surface as others have noted. Also the engine color is incorrect, should be gray.

Thanks!!!

So the smiley face goes on the top of the air cleaner lid (I have the round stove pipe air cleaner)

The Caution do not wash or oil will go on the clutch breather.

The AC Crankcase Breather will go on the side of the breather cap

How about the red Caution use approved oil to cover element decal. I assume it is for the oil filter. Does it go on the lid or on the side?
