I just ordered the thermostat snap ring so it will be installed correctly. some of you say 160 degree and some say 180 degree thermostat. The owners manual lists both. ????????

Brenda, we've discussed that some time ago. Myself and others suggested you go with the 160 thermostat as you are in a warm climate and dont yet know how competent your cooling system is in dealing with stressful situations like traffic jams, etc. If you later find your car does not heat up excessively in such situations, then you might go to the 180..
