To the members of this board who also work at PPG, thanks for a great show, and a special thanks to the powers that be that decided to obtain the neighboring lot for additional parking.

Several: Packards, Scarabs, Corvairs, Isettas, a fabulous Fiat 500 Jolly, but the best pic is personally important: at the dawn of time, my Aunt took a pic of me at the wheel of her 50 Plymouth. At the show was a 50 Plymouth, same color and with the same optional windshield visor. With the owner's permission and assistance, I recreated that pic form 1955.

...and I took the opportunity to return the guide booklet for the lodge that I had mistakenly scampered off with when I went to the open house in 2014.

Yes, we had a FABULOUS day for Cars-R-Stars at the PPG. We don't have the final numbers in, but my guess is that we had 350 cars on the show field and 2,500 people through the gates.

And thanks for the favorable comments - we had 101 volunteers working on the show and many folks put in a 12 hour day in 93 degree heat.

Someone asked about the 3 acre site used for parking. I guess the genie is out of the lamp. I was going to save this announcement for the PAC Meet in South Bend, but we are in negotiations to PURCHASE that site. More about that later.

The aerial was taken earlier in the day before the crowd got larges and a lot of the show cars are hidden under the trees. About 28 Packards were in attendance and they were parked in the courtyard between The Lodge and the Repair Garage. I was too busy during the day, but as we were cleaning up we had all 3 Scarabs parked inside the Engineering Building. Nine were built, 5 remain and 3 were at the show - numbers 3, 4 and 5. Thought that was pretty cool.
