The NAPA part number for the rotor on the x ref on this site is out of date. Anyone know the current NAPA part number for the rotor on the 356 engine?

If indeed it's no longer available, I hope someone else can provide you with a NAPA succession number to the AL 65, it fits Autolite distributors for many different brands and engines over many years. But just to repeat what I've said so many times in the past, as the market demand tapers towards zero and/or tooling wears out, all these parts like generator regulators, generator brushes, points, condensers, rotors, caps and the like will gradually become unavailable from NAPA or other local auto parts stores. So stock up with spares while they are still available at easy prices.

I have AL 99 (Standard brand V12144) for rotor. Previously AL 63 (not 65)
Points CS721A
Condenser AL 869
Cap AL 66 or 97

Don't take this for gospel, it's just what I'm using.
We should come up with a definitive list for these essentials.

Here's the Echlin and Standard Ignition vintage catalog pages. Some of these numbers have no doubt been superceeded by substitute replacements. Rotor AL 99 would be the old Standard "Blue Streak" number, corresponding to the NAPA/Echlin AL 65 number.

Robert, it would be good to have the correct part number for the rotor. If you are in need of one Max or Kanter can probably fill your needs.
