Just curious. . ..
I understand that many Twelve engines used aluminum cylinder heads which by now are or could be compromised due to electrolytic interaction.

Are new cast iron (or aluminum) heads available? Has someone made them, or if you have such a car do you just need to search for original cast iron heads?

I'm not aware that cast iron heads were ever remanufactured but over the years there have been several sources for new aluminum heads in various compression ratios. I seem to recall an offering of new heads in the CCCA Bulletin recently, or perhaps it was The Packard Club monthly. If you're in the market, check vendor references as there have been some apparent issues with one of them in the past.

If you do find cast iron heads..they are different.

You have to use spacers on some studs..
