Is there a difference between the left and right front Delco shocks on my 1601 and if so how can you tell them apart? Inquiring minds want to know.

Can't answer but if no one else has one either there is a 1935 service letter (we don't have it on site) that might. The title mentions differentiating R & L shocks for the 120. Don't know if they are the same type shocks as on the 38s though. Later shocks are a mirror image so the bolt joining the two halves of the arm can point the same direction on both sides. Just need to orient the bolt heads in the proper direction to know the correct side on those.

The service index says the service letter in question is Vol 9 # 9 if anyone has it.
